Living seas volunteers saw bottlenose dolphins were seen throughout the day yesterday, displaying a wide range of behaviours, including leaping, foraging, milling and generally socialising. A number of large groups were seen in the afternoon leaping near the cardinal buoy. A mum and calf pairing were seen foraging the harbour during the first survey of the day. There were 6 sightings of Atlantic grey seals between 11am and 5pm, displaying a range of behaviours such as scanning, swimming, bottling, and logging.
