Two of the Cardigan Bay “Big Three” were spotted in New Quay Harbour yesterday. During the first four surveys, Bottlenose dolphins were spotted foraging and socializing around the headland near the Fish Factory. Dolphins then were spotted foraging around the Cardinal Buoy throughout the second half of the day. An Atlantic grey seal was also seen in the Harbour displaying behaviours such as swimming and logging. Other notable sightings include a Great crested grebe.
