Weather conditions: fair to overcast, wind direction: N/NW, sea state: 1 – 3

Dolphins were seen throughout the day by our Living Seas Volunteers. Groups were seen foraging throughout the New Quay Bay area. Some individuals were also spotted leaping and lunging out of the water.  A lone Atlantic grey seal was seen during the 9am survey. It was a great day for bird watching with sightings of various species including oyster catchers, Mediterranean and black headed gulls, kittiwakes and much more.
