Busy waters yesterday morning with approximately nine to eleven dolphins scattered throughout New Quay Bay. A mother and calf were feeding closer into the harbour and others were feeding by the cardinal buoy. Due to the clear visibility of the water, our LivingSeas volunteers were able to spot a group of five dolphins riding the waves near the Harbour Wall! Our surveys throughout the rest of the day showed other groups foraging in the area and a dolphin was even seen playing with the head of a Mackerel it had just eaten!
