30/08/2016: 8 bottlenose dolphins, 5 Atlantic grey seals

Weather conditions: sea state 1-2, visibility >10km, light swell
Six bottlenose dolphins, One Atlantic grey seals
Whilst in the bay four dolphins were spotted in the bay, with two adults and two calves seen foraging and travelling in the south easterly direction. Shortly afterwards two adult dolphins were spotted foraging, bow riding and slapping their tails. Later in the survey one Atlantic grey seal was also observed.

Halfway through the survey, one male and one female seal were seen in the water. Re-entering New Quay bay two adult dolphins were seen travelling west through the bay.

Whilst leaving New Quay bay one male seal was seen in the water.

Just around New Quay headland one grey seal was seen hauled out on the rocks.
