29/10/11: Bottlenose dolphins and Atlantic grey seals

Weather conditions: Overcast/dull, sea state 2, wind SE
Seven bottlenose dolphins including one calf and one Atlantic grey seal

Bottlenose dolphins were seen throughout the survey, with foraging being the main behaviour in the first half of the survey by the harbour wall and the cardinal buoy. They then moved out past the fish factory with leaping and tail slapping behaviour. One male Atlantic grey seal was also seen in the first half of the survey in the area between the harbour wall and the fish factory.

Weather conditions: Sunny/fair, sea state 1, wind S-SE
Two bottlenose dolphins and one Atlantic grey seal

Sightings were limited to the second half of the survey, with two bottlenose dolphins seen foraging between the fish factory and the cardinal buoy. One female Atlantic grey seal was also seen in the last quarter of the survey foraging around the harbour wall.
