One Atlantic grey seal.

Atlantic grey seal seen briefly in the water mid-survey, slightly out from the harbour wall.

Weather conditions: Fair-sunny, sea state 3, wind direction W.

What is believed to be the same individual male Atlantic grey seal observed bottling continuously throughout the survey near the harbour wall.

2hr survey. Start time 13:00.
Weather conditions: Sunny, sea state 2, wind direction SW.
One Atlantic grey seal and two harbour porpoise.

One Atlantic grey seal, believed to be the same individual from the previous two hour survey, seen bottling mid-way between the harbour wall and the cardinal buoy for the first hour. Towards the end of the survey two harbour porpoise were observed taking long dives, thought to be foraging at depth, in the survey area.

Weather conditions: Sunny, sea state 3, wind direction N-NW.
One harbour porpoise.

One harbour porpoise, possibly one of the two seen in the previous survey, was seen milling around the surface near the headland at the beginning of the survey.

One Atlantic grey seal, possibly the same individual from the day’s previous surveys, observed in the water mid-survey slightly out from the fish factory.
