8 bottlenose dolphins, 1 Atlantic grey seal
8 bottlenose dolphins were seen during our morning survey, in two groups. The first sighting consisted of five adult dolphins that were seen at 11:15, travelling east. The second sighting occurred at 11:41, of 3 dolphins including one calf, also travelling east, although this group were seen much closer to the boat, around 80 metres away. At 11:30 an Atlantic grey seal was seen approximately 50 metres from the boat, in the water on the port side.

7 bottlenose dolphins
During our second survey of the day seven bottlenose dolphins were seen across three groups. At 12:50 approximately three adults were seen leaping about 150 metres away from the boat, though it was thought that there could be more in the group. At 13:03 two more adults were seen leaping, this time 200 metres from the boat. At 13:05 and adult and juvenile approached the boat, leaping and then bow-riding.

4 bottlenose dolphins
Our final survey of the day saw a group of three dolphins at 14:06, consisting of two adults and one calf, foraging as they travelled west, about 100 metres away from the boat. At 14:34 another adult dolphin was seen, again 100 metres from the boat, this time travelling on its own to the east.
