A total of four 2-hour long land surveys were conducted from the harbour yesterday. At 14:45 a female Atlantic grey seal was spotted close to the Harbour Wall. Within the same watch The LivingSeas volunteers then spotted harbour porpoises foraging within close proximity to the cardinal buoy. These porpoises continued to forage in the area for over 2 hours which enabled our ShoreFin team to take some photographs.
