Weather conditions: overcast, sea state 1, wind direction S/SE

Bottlenose dolphins were spotted for nearly the entire of this survey, excluding the last 15 minutes. Three groups of two dolphins were seen foraging around the cardinal marker, before two of the groups were seen travelling west across the bay. Two dolphins remained near the cardinal marker, where they were observed leaping and head slapping. A mother and calf were also seen foraging offshore from the harbour wall.

Weather conditions: fair/sunny, sea state 0-1, wind direction S/SE

Bottlenose dolphins were spotted for nearly the entire of this survey in a variety of different groups. Four dolphins, including a calf, were seen leaping near the cardinal marker, with one lone dolphin foraging. Three dolphins were then seen travelling north east, with the lone dolphin continuing to forage. One dolphin travelled back into the bay, before a mother and calf were seen foraging near the cardinal marker. Five groups of single or pairs of dolphins were seen for the entire of the second hour foraging all around the bay.

Weather conditions: fair/sunny/overcast, sea state 1, wind direction S/SE

Bottlenose dolphins were spotted for nearly the entire of this survey, with the dolphins being the same animals as the previous survey. Three dolphins, including a calf, were observed foraging, leaping and head slapping near the cardinal marker for the entire survey.

Weather conditions: fair, sea state 1, wind direction SE

Bottlenose dolphins were spotted for nearly the entire of this survey also, with the group near the cardinal marker being the same animals as the previous two surveys. Three dolphins, including a calf, were seen near the cardinal marker foraging, and two dolphins were observed foraging and travelling across the bay. These two then stopped by the cardinal marker, where they head slapped and leapt out of the water. Two more dolphins also appeared by the cardinal marker. A group of 7 including the calf were then seen travelling west very quickly, while two dolphins remained near the cardinal mark. Four dolphins travelled back into the bay, a group of three including a calf were seen near the cardinal marker and two more dolphins were seen foraging near the cardinal marker.
