26/08/2013 – 11 bottlenose dolphins, 1 Atlantic grey seal, 1 harbour porpoise

7 bottlenose dolphins

The first dolphin was sighted fifteen minutes into the survey travelling east between the bird colonies. Five minutes later two more dolphins were seen foraging by the second bird colony. A final sighting was made on the return leg of the trip just off the bird colonies, with two bottlenose dolphins, including one calf, foraging and travelling west.

The first sighting was a male Atlantic grey seal logging in the water between the bird colonies and Cwm Tydu and a harbour porpoise was seen travelling north east past Cwm Tydu. One bottlenose dolphin was seen foraging and one Atlantic grey seal was seen in the water near Truyen Cuoi.

The only sighting on this trip was two bottlenose dolphins, a mother and calf, which were seen foraging near Truyen Cuoi.
