7 bottlenose dolphins and 3 Atlantic grey seals
The first sighting of this survey was of a group of two bottlenose dolphins foraging just past the fish factory, with two gannets also foraging and associating with the dolphins. An Atlantic grey seal was then spotted in the water by Birds Rock. The next sighting was of a group of three bottlenose dolphins offshore from Cwmtydu which were seen lunging and leaping out of the water. On the way back to New Quay, another two Atlantic grey seals were spotted, one male and one female both in the water. At the end of the survey, two bottlenose dolphins were spotted foraging in the bay.

8 bottlenose dolphins, 6 Atlantic grey seals and 1 harbour porpoise
At the start of the survey three bottlenose dolphins were seen briefly in the bay. Further offshore, a single harbour porpoise was spotted travelling south-east. A great number of gannets and manx shearwaters were also seen while offshore. Close to Aberporth headland, a mother and juvenile bottlenose dolphin were seen foraging, with five gannets also feeding and associating with them, and both dolphins seen leaping out of the water. On the way back along the coastline, there were five sightings of Atlantic grey seals. Four seals were seen separately in the water with two of those identified as males. Two female Atlantic grey seals were spotted hauled out and resting on a rock close to Birds Rock. At the end of the survey three bottlenose dolphins were seen close to the fish factory, with one of the dolphins lunging out of the water.
