Two bottlenose dolphins and one Atlantic grey seal

Around halfway through the survey period one bottlenose dolphin was seen taking long dives near the cardinal marker, thought to be foraging at depth. It was joined by a second bottlenose dolphin about 45 minutes later and they were seen taking long dives together until the end of the survey period. In the last 15 minutes of the survey one female Atlantic grey seal was spotted bottling directly north of the harbour wall.

Two bottlenose dolphins

The same two bottlenose dolphins as observed in the previous survey were seen taking long dives together near the cardinal marker. They were seen for the first hour of the survey, before they disappeared.

Towards the end of the survey period one Atlantic grey seal was briefly spotted in the water north of the harbour wall.
