23/03/2016: 5 Bottlenose dolphins and 2 Atlantic grey seals

Three bottlenose dolphins and two Atlantic grey seals

Shortly after the survey started a mother and calf came into the bay, travelling right past the wall and out to the cardinal buoy where they were seen feeding for half an hour. Later a lone dolphin entered the bay and was seen feeding for the remainder of the survey. Two grey seals were also spotted swimming near the harbour wall, one at the beginning and one at the end of the survey.

The lone dolphin from the previous survey was seen travelling out of the bay past the headland, as was the second seal.

In the latter part of this survey two bottlenose dolphins were spotted travelling from the cardinal buoy to the headland where they were seen leaping and tail-slapping.
