Weather conditions: Overcast/ dull, sea state: 3, wind direction NW
One Atlantic grey seal and two bottlenose dolphin

No sightings were recorded during the first hour and a half of the survey. During the last half hour one Atlantic grey seal was spotted north of the harbour wall and two bottlenose dolphins were observed travelling into the survey area heading towards the cardinal buoy.

Weather conditions: Conditions started overcast/ dull becoming fair/ sunny, sea state: 3, wind direction: NW/N
Three bottlenose dolphins

Bottlenose dolphins were observed throughout the survey period. During the first 15 minutes of the survey one bottlenose dolphin was recorded leaving the survey area travelling North West. Two bottlenose dolphins, identified as mother and juvenile, were observed foraging near the cardinal buoy throughout the two hour survey.

Three bottlenose dolphins

Two bottlenose dolphins were observed foraging near the cardinal buoy and later travelled outside of the survey area heading North West. One bottlenose dolphin later entered the survey area travelling towards the cardinal buoy where it was observed foraging and milling at the surface.
