Two bottlenose dolphins.

A mother and calf bottlenose dolphin were seen travelling east past the harbour wall towards the cardinal buoy. They remained foraging here for a further half an hour.

One Atlantic grey seal.

An Atlantic grey seal was sighted in the water off Dolau Beach at various points during the survey.

An Atlantic grey seal was seen close to Dolau Beach near the beginning of the survey.

At the start of the survey an Atlantic grey seal was sighted in the water close to the fish factory. Half an hour later, three bottlenose dolphins including a calf were seen travelling from the fish factory towards the harbour wall. The mother and calf dolphin continued to travel and forage into New Quay harbour while the single dolphin moved further out away from the harbour wall.
