Two bottlenose dolphins
Two bottlenose dolphins were seen separately offshore, one taking long dives whilst the other moving faster. By the end of the survey they had joined together and were both staying just offshore of the harbour wall, taking long dives.

Eleven bottlenose dolphins
Three bottlenose dolphins, including one calf, were seen foraging offshore. Four more were seen leaping at the cardinal buoy and three were seen leaping around the headland. Later a total of eleven were seen in the bay with three calves seen foraging.

Twelve bottlenose dolphins
Two groups of dolphins were seen offshore, including three calves. Dolphins were observed head slapping, leaping and foraging. Later the groups split and were seen travelling, in northerly and westerly direction.

Eight bottlenose dolphins
During the first half of the survey six dolphins including one calf were seen foraging and leaping near the cardinal buoy, and two were also seen foraging off the headland. Later an adult and calf were seen travelling to the east, with one other dolphin remaining near the cardinal buoy to forage.

Eight bottlenose dolphins, One Atlantic Grey Seal
Two dolphins were seen foraging close to the harbour wall, as well as three seen leaping at the cardinal buoy. Later the five were seen travelling in an easterly direction, before an adult and calf were seen foraging close to the harbour wall. One grey seal was seen swimming from the headland towards the harbour wall.

Six bottlenose dolphins
The same dolphins previously seen were observed in three groups. Four were seen in one group travelling offshore, including one calf, which later on foraged near the headland. Diving gannets were seen around the dolphins as they foraged.
