Seven bottlenose dolphins and 1 Atlantic grey seal
One bottlenose dolphin was spotted in front of the harbour wall within the first 15 minutes of the survey. The dolphin displayed behaviour such as leaping and tail slapping. The dolphin was then seen travelling away from the wall. The same dolphin was travelling North West towards the fish factory. A dolphin was then spotted near the fish factory deep diving thought to be foraging. There was also a sighting of an Atlantic grey seal. The seal floated at the surface of the water for a few seconds and then swam away towards the fish factory. Three dolphins including a calf were spotted travelling east from the fish factory. The dolphins were then spotted just off the harbour wall displaying behaviour such diving at a depth thought to be foraging. At the same time there was two dolphins leaping and tail slapping further off the harbour wall.

Five bottlenose dolphins
The same bottlenose dolphins from the previous survey remained in the bay. The three bottlenose dolphins including the calf were seen off the top of the harbour wall continuing to deep dive thought to be foraging. The dolphins spotted leaping and tail slapping in the previous survey now appeared to be travelling south. The dolphins were not spotted again after 9:45.

Three bottlenose dolphins
The first sighting of the survey was around 17:30. Three bottlenose dolphins were spotted travelling North east towards the fish factory. The dolphins were then spotted at the fish factory deep diving thought to be foraging. They then travelled around the headland out of sight at around 18:15. One of our adopt a dolphin was spotted this season. Cadfeal was our first adopt a dolphin spotted this season.
