21/06/2015: 13 bottlenose dolphins and one atlantic grey seal

Five bottlenose dolphins.

During this survey there were two sightings of bottlenose dolphins, around 12 o’clock. The first of two adults and the second of three adults, both groups displayed foraging behaviour.

Eight bottlenose dolphins.

During this survey we had four marine mammal sightings which occurred in the harbour area. The first on the way out of four adult bottlenose dolphins, which were leaping, tail slapping and feeding as a jellyfish was seen in one of their mouths. The other three sightings were seen on the way back into the harbour. The first of these was an adult atlantic grey seal in the water. The last two sightings were both of bottlenose dolphins; one adult and then three adults. Both groups displayed leaping and travelling.
