Nine Bottlenose Dolphins.

15 minutes into this survey a group of three dolphins were seen chasing prey at the surface of the water near the fish factory. They kept doing this for about half an hour. Two of the dolphins remained near the fish factory, where they were seen splashing and leaping in the water. The other of the three was seen travelling towards the cardinal marker. Shortly after, four new dolphins, in two groups, one of three, and one on its own, were seen entering the survey area from near the headland. These dolphins did not remain in the survey area. At around quarter past four, there were another two dolphins seen foraging off the headland at the fish factory. There were no further sightings in this survey.
