9 bottlenose dolphins
Bottlenose dolphins were seen throughout the survey, beginning with three dolphins foraging just north of the harbour wall. After fifteen minutes one bottlenose dolphin was sighted off the fish factory travelling east. The number of dolphins then increased to seven, with five travelling east and two foraging. These seven remained in the bay until 10.00 at which point the number of dolphins dropped to five. This then dropped to two travelling west.

Weather conditions: fair/overcast and dull/rain/sunny, sea state 2, wind SW/NW
5 bottlenose dolphins
Dolphins were seen throughout the survey with four at the start seen foraging and travelling north of the harbour wall. These dolphins then moved east over to the cardinal buoy. At 11.45 this dropped to three dolphins foraging north of the wall. After fifteen minutes this increased to five, all north of the harbour wall and by the fish factory. Numbers then decreased gradually, with four sightings and then three sightings, all in front of the wall.

5 bottlenose dolphins
The survey began with four dolphins northeast of the harbour wall, one foraging and three travelling west. After fifteen minutes the three travelling were joined by one more dolphin and began foraging, as well as one foraging by the harbour wall. This dropped to one dolphin foraging at 13.30. After this no more dolphins were seen in the survey.

3 bottlenose dolphins
Dolphins were seen throughout the survey beginning with one adult and one calf just north of the harbour wall foraging. This increased to three for half an hour before dropping to two dolphins at the end of the first hour. This then increased to three bottlenose dolphins, one of them being a calf, before dropping to two again in front of the harbour wall.
