15/08/11: 13 bottlenose dolphins and 1 harbour porpoise

Our first sighting was a pod of three bottlenose dolphins, including a calf, which were seen out to sea from Cwmtydu. Then towards the end of the survey, an adult harbour porpoise was also spotted foraging nearby to the fishery.

Approximately half way through the survey a Bottlenose dolphin was seen foraging with a calf by the New Quay headland. Close by were two other single dolphins, which were also seen to be foraging.

At the beginning of the survey, one adult bottlenose dolphin was seen feeding by the fishery. A few minutes later, this animal was joined by another bottlenose dolphin and both began foraging.

Our first sighting occurred at the beginning of the survey. This was a sighting of two adult bottlenose dolphins which were found by the reef. These dolphins were soon joined by a third dolphin and all three began foraging.
