Eighteen bottlenose dolphins

Two groups of bottlenose dolphins were seen off the coast southwest of Borth. Two animals were seen leaping, while a group of six animals including a calf and a juvenile were seen travelling alongside the boat. Later a group of ten bottlenose dolphins was observed west of the coast of Tywyn, displaying a range of behaviours such as bow riding, leaping, socialising, close contact, and feeding, travelling in a south-easterly direction. Over the course of the survey a variety of birds were seen including gannets, guillemots, cormorants, shags, herring gulls, scoters, manx shearwater, and storm petrels displaying activities such as resting, feeding, and travelling.
