13/08/2015: 4 bottlenose dolphins and 1 Atlantic Grey seal

After a quiet start, an Atlantic Grey seal was spotted in the water. Towards the end of the survey 2 bottlenose dolphins were seen, the first was travelling towards the harbour wall while the second was seen foraging and making shallow dives.

The same two bottlenose dolphins as the last survey were seen through the first hour. They were foraging and making shallow dives. There were no sightings during the second half of the survey.

There were 2 bottlenose dolphins seen foraging near the cardinal marker during the second half of the survey. They occasionally travelled further over towards the reef but spent the majority of their time just behind the cardinal marker.
