Eight bottlenose dolphins and eight Atlantic grey seals
In the first half hour of the survey six adult bottlenose dolphins were seen foraging near to the fish factory along with one juvenile and one calf. Two Atlantic grey seals were seen bottling in the water near to the second bird colony.One male and one female Atlantic grey seal were seen both hauled out and in the water near Cwm Tydu. Just further on another Atlantic grey seal was seen swimming. One male and two female Atlantic grey seals were seen bottling near Truyen Cuoi. The final bottlenose dolphin was seen foraging near New Quay harbour.

12 Bottlenose dolphins, four Atlantic grey seals and two harbour porpoise
One bottlenose dolphin was seen as the boat exited New Quay harbour. Three Atlantic grey seals were seen in the water between the fish factory and Cwm Tydu. Two adult bottlenose dolphins were seen with a calf travelling, leaping and tail slapping near Cwm Tydu. One Atlantic grey seal was seen in the water near Ynys Lochtyn along with one adult and one juvenile bottlenose dolphin that were travelling in an easterly direction, seen foraging and leaping. One adult and one juvenile harbour porpoise were seen logging near Llangrannog. Further away from land two bottlenose dolphins were seen with a new-born calf travelling and foraging in a north easterly direction. Heading back towards New Quay three more bottlenose dolphins were seen foraging.
