11/10/14-bottlenose dolphins and Atlantic grey seals

Six bottlenose dolphins

Dolphins were present throughout the whole survey, including a mother and calf pair. Foraging behaviour was seen for most of the dolphins, who were located close to the harbour wall as well as near to the fish factory. The mother and calf remained close to the wall for the majority of the survey.

One Atlantic grey seal

Towards the end of the survey, an Atlantic grey seal was seen to be eating a fish close to the harbour.

Four bottlenose dolphins and one Atlantic grey seal

The second half of the survey saw three bottlenose dolphins displaying tail slaps and leaps near to the cardinal buoy and another individual was seen by the fish factory, travelling towards the group. An Atlantic grey seal was also spotted by the fish factory, later travelling out towards the cardinal buoy.
