14/08/12 Bottlenose dolphins and Atlantic grey seals

Three bottlenose dolphins including a calf.

Bottlenose dolphins spent most of the survey in front of the harbour wall and towards the fish factory. They were taking long dives and foraging, mingling at the surface, making leaps, tail slaps and lunges.

One bottlenose dolphin and one Atlantic grey seal.

One grey seal was observed close to the harbour wall and the bottlenose dolphin was spotted at the end of the survey in front of the harbour wall, it was taking long dives and thought to be foraging at depth.

One bottlenose dolphin.

The one bottlenose dolphin was observed in the first half of the survey. It spent its time taking long dives and foraging between the front of the pier and towards cardinal buoy.
