Four Bottlenose Dolphins and Atlantic grey seal.
During the survey, a total of four bottlenose dolphins were observed from the harbour wall as well as one Atlantic grey seal. Bottlenose dolphins were observed to be within 200 meters of the pier within the first half of the survey, where they were also part of a boat encounter, the behavioural patterns did not change and they were observed to be foraging. The Atlantic grey seal was also observed within 200 meters of the pier.

One Atlantic Grey Seal
Throughout the survey one Atlantic grey seal was observed on the area between the pier and the fish factory. Throughout the survey the seal slowly made it’s way around by the headland due South. There were no bottlenose dolphins observed in the survey. This could be due to a large amount of boat traffic is the harbour area due to a regatta.
2hr survey: 13:00
Weather conditions; fair / sunny / rain / sun & showers; Sea state: 2-3: Wind direction: W/SW
Two Bottlenose dolphins, one Atlantic Grey Seal.
At the beginning of the survey an Atlantic grey seal was observed in the area between the Harbour wall and the fish factory. Nothing else was observed until the last 30 minutes of the survey, where two bottlenose dolphins were observed near the fish factory foraging. During the last 15 minutes of the survey the two bottlenose dolphins were observed travelling west.
2hr survey: 15:00

One Atlantic Grey Seal and three Bottlenose dolphins.
During the begging of the survey, in the first 15 minutes, two bottlenose dolphins were observed foraging in the area behind the fish factory. Nothing was observed afterwards until 16.00 when an Atlantic grey seal was spotted 100 meters from the headland between the harbour wall and the fish factory. During the final 45 minutes of the survey, one bottlenose dolphin was observed in the area between the cardinal buoy and the harbour wall. The dolphin was exhibiting behaviours such as tail slaps and jumping in the first sighting, however toward the end of the survey it was seen foraging and had an encounter with some motor vessels, which did not alter the behaviours.
