No marine mammal sightings but approximately 40 oystercatchers were seen.

Weather conditions: fair/sunny, sea state 2-3, wind direction NW

An adult and juvenile bottlenose dolphin were spotted travelling eastwards in the first half of the survey and were then seen foraging close to the cardinal marker. At the end of the survey, the pair was foraging at the end of the harbour wall where they were joined by another individual.

The dolphins from the previous survey remained very close to the end of the harbour wall where they continued to forage and chase fish. Another group of dolphins were spotted close to the cardinal marker.

Weather conditions: fair, sea state 2-3, wind direction N/NW

During the first half hour of the survey a group of bottlenose dolphins, including one juvenile dolphin, were spotted leaping and foraging offshore before moving out of sight. For the remaining duration of the survey, one dolphin was seen foraging throughout the bay area until another dolphin appeared close to the harbour wall.

Weather conditions: fair/sunny, sea state 1-2, wind direction N

During the first hour of the survey a pair of bottlenose dolphins was spotted foraging and chasing fish at the surface. Later another individual was spotted foraging around the cardinal marker. There were no sightings in the remaining half hour of the survey.

Weather conditions: fair/sunny, sea state 1-2, wind direction W/NW

Bottlenose dolphins were seen foraging close to the cardinal marker and New Quay headland. One dolphin was briefly seen milling and leaping close to the harbour wall. The dolphins remained in the bay area until the last half hour of the survey when there were no sightings.
