1 Atlantic Grey Seals, 2 Bottlenose Dolphins

The first sighting of the survey occurred slightly offshore between Cwmtydu and Llangrannog and it was of two adult dolphins foraging. This sighting was assisted by an associated gannet flying overhead. Later in the survey a lone Atlantic grey seal was spotted in the water near Birds Rock.

1 Atlantic Grey Seals, 4 Bottlenose Dolphins

The first sighting of two adult bottlenose dolphins occurred within New Quay Bay. They were observed foraging, leaping, and tail slapping. A single female grey seal was then spotted in the water near Birds Rock. The last sighting of the survey was of two adult dolphins near New Quay headland and they were seen swimming, leaping and foraging.
