Four bottlenose dolphins including one calf

One bottlenose dolphin was seen foraging around the cardinal buoy at the start of the survey period. Four bottlenose dolphins, including one calf were later seen foraging north of the harbour wall.

One Atlantic grey seal

One Atlantic grey seal was seen in the water behind the harbour wall at the start of the survey period. The seal then surfaced north of the harbour wall.

Five bottlenose dolphins including one calf and one Atlantic grey seal

One Atlantic grey seal surfaced in front of the harbour wall at the start of the survey. Bottlenose dolphins were observed during the second half of the survey period. The mother-calf pair and one other adult were seen leaping, breaching and tail-slapping north of the harbour wall. One bottlenose dolphin was seen travelling around the harbour wall area and a fifth dolphin was later seen leaping and foraging around the cardinal buoy.
