The first sightings of the trip were of two Atlantic grey seals in the water one of which was identified as a female, quickly followed by a sighting of a seal pup hauled out on the beach by Birds Rock. Later in the trip on the way back to New Quay one Atlantic grey seal was spotted briefly in the water, and a female seal was seen soon after this hauled out on a rock. After this a mother and pup were seen hauled out together on a small beach, with another female in the water close by. Following this another female Atlantic grey seal was spotted in the water. The final sighting of the trip was of four female Atlantic grey seals hauled out on rocks by Birds Rock.

The first sighting of the trip was of a mother and pup Atlantic grey seal hauled out on the beach by Birds Rock. This sighting was quickly followed by another of three female Atlantic grey seals hauled out on the rocks and one male in the water. Further down the coast, four Atlantic grey seals were seen in the water, and a male was spotted hauled out on the rocks. On a beach past Cwmtydu, a seal pup and a male Atlantic grey seal were seen hauled out, with a female close by in the water. On the way back to New Quay, a male and female Atlantic grey seal were seen in the water, and another five seals were seen hauled out on rocks close to Birds Rock, four of which were identified as females. At the end of the trip, a group of three bottlenose dolphins including one juvenile were spotted.
