02/06/12: One bottlenose dolphin and 17 Atlantic grey seals

One bottlenose dolphin, eight Atlantic grey seals

A bottlenose dolphin was seen in the distance at the beginning of the trip as we headed out of the harbour.  Four female Atlantic grey seals were seen in the water towards Ynys Lochtyn.  These were followed by four more sightings of single Atlantic grey seals in the water and hauled out, as we headed up the coast line, past Cwmtydu and back to New Quay.

Two Atlantic grey seals

An Atlantic grey seal was seen in the water off the coast west of New Quay.  Further down the coast past Cwmtydu an Atlantic grey seal was seen hauled out.

There were five sightings of Atlantic grey seals, all in the water down the coast between New Quay and Ynys Lochtyn.
