Eight bottlenose dolphins and two Atlantic grey seals
Fifteen minutes into the survey, a group of eight bottlenose dolphins were seen north of the harbour wall, mingling at the surface, before exhibiting displays of splashy behaviour and leaping. A lone Atlantic grey seal was also seen bottling nearby. Half way through the survey, the group of dolphins were seen mingling at the surface near the cardinal marker, and another Atlantic grey sea was seen swimming west in front of the harbour wall. In the second half of the survey, the dolphin group split up and a group of three were seen travelling west, with a pair foraging at depth nearby. The Atlantic grey seal seen last was observed swimming east past the dolphins. In the last half an hour of the survey, the five bottlenose dolphins had joined to form a group and were seen travelling west towards the headland, before being seen leaping off the headland at the end of the survey.

Five bottlenose dolphins
From the beginning of the survey, the five bottlenose dolphins seen at the end of the previous survey were still present. Four had formed a group and was seen travelling east away from the headland, with one travelling the same direction closer to the harbour wall. Fifteen minutes into the survey, only four bottlenose dolphins were seen in a group and were observed travelling across the bay in several directions over the next 45minutes before disappearing.
