Living Seas Volunteer Experience

Love dolphins? Want to make a positive contribution to marine conservation? Looking to volunteer with locally?

Then come down to our Living Seas Volunteer Experience morning on 11th June, 10am-12pm. This is your chance to experience what it’s like to volunteer at CBMWC, meet some of our current volunteers and find out how you can get involved.

The Volunteer Experience will begin at 10am with a tour of our visitor centre and a quick chat about our Living Seas work. We’ll then head out to New Quay Harbour Wall to conduct a mini dolphin watch survey and possibly spot some dolphins, seals or marine birds. After our mini survey we’ll head back to our Discovery Room for tea, coffee and biscuits and a chance for you to talk to some of our current volunteers as well as our Living Seas Volunteer Coordinator Laura.

YOU DON’T NEED A BACKGROUND IN SCIENCE TO GET INVOLVED!

We’re looking for any members of the local community, whatever your age, experience or background, with a passion for marine life or someone who wants to use their skills to help a local marine conservation charity.
