The Welsh Widlife Centre
Glasshouse Cafe
Gift shopThe Otter’s Holt Gift Shop has a wide range of wildlife related gifts and books for all ages. Craft makers from the local counties showcase some of the best art and craft produced in the area in our shop. The information centre staff are always there to help you enjoy your visit and assist you in understanding the wonders of Welsh Wildlife.
The centre contains an informative interactive indoor display of local natural and social history about the River Teifi and Cilgerran. Also interactive screens with live camera feed from off the Teifi Marshes Nature Reserve.
There is an adventure playground with lots of slides and play equipment with living willow structures to play in and around!
The River Teifi - Photo Rob JonesThe River Teifi runs alongside the reserve. If you wish to take a canoe trip up river as far as Cilgerran Castle please contact Heritage Canoes who operate from this reserve.
Dogs are welcome on our reserves but should be on a lead to avoid them upsetting the wildlife and other visitors - not everyone likes dogs! We do not have the staff or resources to clear up dog poo so please take your dog poo home with you and dispose of it yourself.
Dogs are not allowed in the visitor centre. If you wish to eat at the Glasshouse Cafe there is an outside covered balcony adjacent to the cafe with an outside staircase where you can sit with your dog, or there are tables outside on the meadow.
