Building with wildlife in mind can have big benefits for people as well – research has shown that contact with nature is good for our health and wellbeing. Green spaces can also improve air quality, lower flood risk and provide places for the local community to come together.

It's vital that today's young people have the opportunities to form life-long connections to nature and have their say in creating a wilder future. Whether that's through fun activities with the family, learning at school, joining Wildlife Watch, or being part of a youth forum, we want to bring nature into the everyday lives of young people and help them connect and be inspired to stand up for nature.

The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales is an independent, autonomous charity with its own Board of Trustees. We are run by a small group of dedicated staff and supported by a large number of enthusiastic volunteers!
