I'm the new Community Organising Officer for Swansea with The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales and will be working on the Nextdoor Nature project.
Grassland
Flower-rich grasslands, full of wildflowers such as orchids, snake's head fritillaries and bird's-foot trefoil support an abundance of insects, from bumblebees to butterflies.
Parc Slip Visitor Centre & Cafe
The Visitor Centre and Cafe is now open 7 days a week, 10am - 4pm. We are delighted to be working in partnership with Karrie's Coffee Co who are serving delicious coffee, hot and cold food, and mouth-watering cakes!

Wren
The tiny wren, with its typically cocked tail, is a welcome and common visitor to gardens across town and countryside. It builds its domed nests in sheltered bushes and rock crevices.
Our projects
As well as working towards overall Living Landscapes and Living Seas, we lead on a variety of partnership projects across south and west Wales. From species reintroductions, tackling invasive non-native species, community nature restoration and more.
