Become a local planning champion
You can help wildlife and nature recovery by actively participating in the planning system. Rather than only reacting to potentially damaging planning applications, it’s more effective to change the policies that govern planning decisions.
Dog Walking on Reserves

My office
Deborah is Ulster Wildlife’s Nature Reserves Officer. Alongside a team of dedicated volunteers, she works to protect our special places to help both wildlife and people thrive.
My turning point
Volunteering on a nature reserve turned Adam’s life around after a difficult time in life. As Assistant Reserve Officer, wildlife is both his stress relief and his career.
Our projects
As well as working towards overall Living Landscapes and Living Seas, we lead on a variety of partnership projects across south and west Wales. From species reintroductions, tackling invasive non-native species, community nature restoration and more.
