Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales awarded £810,000 to support marine and grassland conservation.
The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales (WTSWW) has been awarded £810,000 from the National Lottery’s Nature Networks Fund to support two nationally important projects.
Common green lacewing
The common green lacewing is a lime green, delicate insect, with translucent, intricately veined wings. It is common in gardens and parks, where it helps to control aphid pests.
Sand sedge
Sand sedge is an important feature of our coastal sand dunes, helping to stabilise the dunes, which allows them to grow up and become colonised by other species.
Bringing beavers back to Wales
