Niamh loves to feed the birds, so makes natural feeders out of pinecones and berries, to help them through the winter. She’ll tie this to a branch so that the birds can feast from it safely.

Carmel comprises a mosaic of habitats with a distinct patchwork pattern of woodland blocks and unimproved and semi-improved hay meadows.

This streaky brown bird is a winter visitor, occasionally found walking around the muddy margins of marshes.
