Please note there is plenty of accommodation from 28 July onwards (except for 31 July and 3, 6 and 7 August) if you would like to try the peace, quiet and solitude of Skomer Island!

Skomer overnight accommodation September and October 2010 has been reduced to £20 per person per night (under 16s half price)!
Skomer overnight accommodation 2011Members of the Wildlife Trust of South & West Wales only have priority booking for overnight accommodation for 2011. The booking office for members only will open on Monday 4 October at 9am. Please note if you are just a member of the Friends of the Islands (Friends of Skomer & Skokholm) you will need to upgrade your membership to be a full member of the Wildlife Trust of South & West Wales in order to take advantage of priority booking. All other bookings for overnight accommodation and volunteers will be taken from Monday 11 October 2010 from 9am. Please note Island Bookings will be closed Wednesday & Thursday 13 & 14 October 2010. In order for me to get through the volume of calls please have the following information ready when you call: Date(s) required (please have alternate dates available) A new booking form for 2011 bookings will be posted on this page nearer the date. Bird count week in 2011 is Tues-Thurs 17-19 May. Please note therefore that it is a five night stay from Sun 15 May leaving on Fri 20 May. There will be no island books Mon to Thurs. Please do not send booking forms and deposit until you have made a provisional booking by phone. You will have 21 days to send these into the Cilgerran office and they will be acknowledged within seven working days. If you have not received an acknowledgement within this time please contact Island Bookings to check we still have your booking. Failure to send in a booking form within the time limit may mean your booking is cancelled. We advise you to read the booking conditions which are further down this page. Skomer Island is open for overnight accommodation and day visitors from 1 April to 31 October. The booking office for overnight accommodation operates from the Welsh Wildlife Centre, Cilgerran, Cardigan.
Please phone Island Bookings (01239 621600/621212) to ascertain vacancies before sending in the booking form with deposit. The booking office is currently open Monday to Friday 8.45am-4.30pm with a break between 11.50am - 12.35pm. Please note it is closed at weekends and bank holidays.

Booking form for 2010 in pdf format or word format.This should be completed and sent to the Island Bookings ofice at Cilgerran (address below) with 25% deposit. You will be invoiced for the balance 12 weeks before you are due to go to Skomer and the balance should be paid eight weeks before your arrival on the island.
