Booking Form and Information for Skomer Island

Visitors can stay overnight for as little as one night on Skomer Island from 1 April to the end of October. Due to heavy demand bookings in 2009 will again be limited to a maximum of three nights during May, June and July, except for the five nights from Sunday 17 May leaving Friday morning 22 May due to the bird count census (19-21 May) when there are no boats to the island Monday to Thursday. There is still accommodation available for these five nights.

Please phone Island Bookings (01239 621600/621212) to ascertain vacancies before sending in the booking form with deposit. The booking office is open Monday to Friday 9am - 3pm. Please note it is closed at weekends and bank holidays.

Cost of accommodation: £35 per person per night based on shared room. Children under 16 sharing a room with their parents £15. Minimum room charge £60 (single occupancy, or one adult and one child) operates from 1 April to 7 August. For information on the accommodation see the page Staying on Skomer.

Skomer is fully booked for June 2009. May and July are heavily booked. There is plenty of availability April, August, September and October but some weekends have been put aside in April and August for courses - details will be posted on the website about these soon. Vacancies are as follows but please bear in mind this will change quickly - I will try and keep it updated as much as possible. You should always phone first to make a provisional booking before sending in a booking form and deposit.

Mon 4: Twin room
Tues 12: Shearwater (sleeps 5)
Sun 17-Thur 21 inclusive: Bird count week, you will have to stay for five nights. Three rooms available: twin, and both family rooms (Puffin and Shearwater)

July availability:
Fri 17 July: Shearwater (sleeps 5)
Thur 23 July: Puffin (sleeps 4)
Tues 28: Twin, triple, Puffin (family 4 people), Shearwater (family 5 people)
Wed 29: Twin, triple, Puffin (family 4 people), Shearwater (family 5 people)
Thur 30: All rooms
Fri 31: All rooms
