Booking Form and Information for Skomer Island

 

Island Bookings 2010

The booking office for 2010 will open on Monday 5 October 2009 at 9am.

A new booking form for 2010 will be put on the site nearer the date. Please do not send in a booking form without first making a provisional booking by telephone. Please note the phone lines will be very busy and you may need to wait a while before the phone is answered.

 

Visitors can stay overnight for as little as one night on Skomer Island from 1 April to the end of October. Due to heavy demand bookings in 2009 will again be limited to a maximum of three nights during May, June and July, except for the five nights from Sunday 17 May leaving Friday morning 22 May due to the bird count census (19-21 May) when there are no boats to the island Monday to Thursday.

Please phone Island Bookings (01239 621600/621212) to ascertain vacancies before sending in the booking form with deposit. The booking office is currently open Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm. Please note it is closed at weekends and bank holidays.

Cost of accommodation: £35 per person per night based on shared room. Children under 16 sharing a room with their parents £15. Minimum room charge £60 (single occupancy, or one adult and one child) operates from 1 April to 7 August. For information on the accommodation see the page Staying on Skomer.

Skomer is fully booked from 23 April to 1 August. Vacancies are as follows but please bear in mind this will change quickly - we will try and keep it updated as much as possible. There is still plenty of accommodation in the later months of August, September and October.Please bear in mind that we are running courses on some weekends in August - see residential courses page for details. You should always phone first to make a provisional booking before sending in a booking form and deposit.

Sat 1 Aug - Shearwater (sleeps five)
Sun and Mon 2 & 3 Aug - Guillemot (twin bedded room)
Tues 4 August - Curlew (twin bedded room) and Shearwater (sleeps five)

Plenty of room from Wed 5 August onwards apart from weekends of 8, 9 10 August and 22, 23, 24 August (courses running)
