This course is aimed at beginners and amateurs, who wish to learn how to survey for great crested newts. The great crested newt is a European Protected Species, therefore learning about its ecology and habitat requirements plays an important role in its conservation.

Essential items to bring:

-Packed lunch (tea and coffee is however provided)

-Waterproofs and boots for outdoor activities

-Notepad and pencil
