This course is aimed at amateurs who wish to learn how to identify bird species found in the UK. The course will consist of indoor classroom sessions along with outdoor sessions, allowing attendees to test their skills in the field.
Ringing demonstrations on the Parc Slip Nature Reserve will give participants hands on experience of bird ringing and allow them to take part in a scientific monitoring scheme.
Essential items to bring:
-Packed lunch (tea and coffee is however provided)
-Waterproofs and boots for outdoor activities
-Notepad and pencil
