Last Tuesday a group of Gower volunteers visited Llyn Fach, a remote reserve hidden away above Rhigos, at the top of the Neath Valley, Glamorgan.

As I left Brecon in fog at 5.30am I wondered what kind of morning we would have. I was soon cheered by the site of bright orange glow from behind the hills as I headed towards the meeting point…

It has been a very busy month for us here in Cardiff, with lots of engagement events and practical conservation workdays happening throughout the sunny weather.

The launch event for the new Brecon Wildlife Watch Group was a great success! 28 people attended and 15 children have registered their interest in future meetings.
