Weather conditions: fair/ sunny, sea state 4/3, wind direction W/NW

At the start of the 11.00 survey there was 1 Atlantic grey seal bottling 200m off the harbour wall. It was there briefly before going beneath the waves not to be seen for the rest of the survey. Early in the 13.00 survey a group of three dolphins including a calf were spotted foraging near the Cardinal Marker. Sea conditions were not ideal for identification but after 30 minutes the group headed into the harbour and a total of 5 animals were recorded including Snowcap, one of our regulars.
