Ten bottlenose dolphins and four atlantic grey seals
A four hour survey was conducted from New Quay around Cardigan Bay, mainly sticking inshore. During this survey there were 11 grey seals sighted and three groups of bottlenose dolphins spotted as well. The dolphins spotted were mainly spotted feeding with a bit of leaping. One of the groups of dolphins had a calf with them and the other two groups of dolphins had juveniles with them.

Twelve bottlenose dolphins and three atlantic grey seals
A two hour survey was conducted from New Quay to Ynys Lochtyn and back. During this survey there were 5 confirmed sightings. Three of the sightings were bottlenose dolphins with one of the groups having two juveniles with them. The dolphin groups were mainly spotted foraging and the grey seals were spotted logging in the water. There was also a barrel jellyfish spotted during the survey.

Seven bottlenose dolphins and three atlantic grey seals
A two hour survey was conducted from New Quay to Ynys Lochtyn and back. During this survey there were four confirmed sightings. Two of the sightings were groups of bottlenose dolphins and the other two there were grey seals. The grey seals were spotted hauled out on the beach probably sleeping or resting. The dolphins were spotted feeding and leaping out of the water with a juvenile playing with a jellyfish.
