18/08/11: Bottlenose dolphins and an Atlantic grey seal

Four bottlenose dolphins

Bottlenose dolphins (including one calf) were seen throughout the two hour survey foraging, mostly near the harbour wall and on occasion by the cardinal buoy.

Weather conditions: sunny/ overcast/dull, sea state 1, wind N
Three bottlenose dolphins and one Atlantic grey seal

Bottlenose dolphins were spotted throughout the survey with a mother and calf foraging by the cardinal buoy, and another adult bottlenose dolphin foraging by the harbour wall. An Atlantic grey seal was also spotted between 12:15 and 12:30 in the water close to the harbour wall.

Weather conditions: fair/  overcast/dull, sea state 2/3, wind N becoming NW later.
Four bottlenose dolphins

A mother and calf were seen foraging around the cardinal buoy from 13:00 to 14:15. Two adult bottlenose dolphins were spotted at the beginning of the survey leaping and lunging just offshore from the fish factory.
