2hr survey. Start time 11:00
Weather conditions: overcast to fair, sea state 2, wind direction S
One common dolphin

The common dolphin was seen almost constantly through 11 o’clock survey, though it did go unseen for one period during the survey time. 2hr survey. Start time 13:00
Weather conditions: sunny or fair, sea state 2, wind direction SE
One common dolphin and five bottlenose dolphins

The common dolphin, Daily, was seen through most of the survey spending more time deeper in the water as it did longer dives. Daily did go unseen at one point when two groups (one group of three and one of two) moved into the harbour. One group was travelling west towards the fish factory north of the harbour wall. The group of three, however, were leaping clean out of the water to the north-east of the pier before again leaving the harbour. One of the bottlenose was seen again later in the survey briefly, regularly surfacing round the fish factory before moving out of view.

2hr survey. Start time 15:00
Weather conditions: sunny changing to overcast, sea state 2 lessening to 1, wind direction varied from SE to SW
One common dolphin and two harbour porpoise

Daily was seen during most of the survey regularly surfacing east of the pier around the usual buoys, though sometimes heading further north and back again. About half way through the survey two harbour porpoises were reported by ShoreFin in the distance. They were first spotted far north of the pier and then headed north-west around the fish factory and out of view.
