2hr survey. Start time 09:00
Weather conditions: Overcast/rain, sea state 2, wind direction SW/W
Four Bottlenose dolphins

Dolphins were seen intermittently throughout the survey. Within half an hour into starting the survey a bottlenose dolphin was seen close to the harbour wall displaying slow-moving, foraging behaviour. Towards the end of the survey more groups were seen; one individual foraging around the harbour wall area and two others were travelling in a north-westerly direction towards the fish factory.

2hr survey. Start time 11:00
Weather conditions: Overcast, sea state 3, wind direction SW/S
Four Bottlenose dolphins

Two groups of bottlenose dolphins were observed throughout the two hour survey; the first two individuals were spotted foraging at depth close to the harbour wall. The two dolphins were travelling around the bay area for the majority for the survey. Another induvial was spotted near the wall later in the survey, and the group displayed various slow-moving behaviours such as foraging and searching for prey at the surface. A final dolphin was seen half way through the survey by the cardinal buoy firstly displaying foraging behaviour then continuing to travel in a north-west direction as the survey came to an end.

2hr survey. Start time 13:00
Weather conditions: Overcast, sea state 2/3, wind direction S
Three Bottlenose dolphins

Bottlenose dolphins were observed throughout the two-hour survey; the first sighting was close to the harbour wall where two individuals showed foraging and milling behaviour. Another dolphin was spotted showing the same behaviour by the cardinal buoy. These individuals remained around the same area for the remainder of the survey. An Atlantic grey seal was also spotted in the water by the harbour wall at the start of the survey.

2hr survey. Start time 15:00
Weather conditions: Overcast, sea state 2, wind direction SW/W
Three Bottlenose dolphins

Two groups of dolphins were observed throughout the survey, both close to the harbour wall and around the cardinal buoy. They mostly showed slow-moving, foraging behaviour and remained in the area for the two hours. Fish-throwing behaviour was also observed towards the start of the survey.

2hr survey. Start time 17:00
Weather conditions :Fair/sunny/overcast, sea state 2, wind direction SW/W
